LA RIOJA GOLF CLUB

It is located on the outskirts of La Rioja, capital of the province. Designed under rules U.S.G.A. by renowned professional Diego Caprile, it has eighteen holes that respect the nature of the place: you can play between native species of flora and fauna such as cactuses and carob. The field is located on 72 hectares, 32 correspond to fairways, 1.5 to greens and the rest is native mount.

LOS SAUCES DAM

Surrounded by hills that give a dazzling frame, Los Sauces Dam impounds the waters of the homonymous river forming a beautiful artificial lake. Suitable for camping, fishing and water sports, it is inevitable for everyone who comes to La Rioja eager to enjoy its scenic landscapes and its characteristic nature destination. During the summer, the Dique Los Sauces has a spa enabled that makes the delight of locals and tourists with its refreshing waters. In the vicinity lies the brand new tunnel that connects the city of La Rioja with Villa Sanagasta. Los Sauces Dam is located 15kms from the capital city by RN 75.

TALAMPAYA

The Talampaya National Park is a nature reserve and one of the seven "World Heritage" declared by Unesco in Argentina. It is located in the center-west of the province of La Rioja. It was created in 1975 as a provincial park in order to protect important archaeological and paleontological sites in the area. In 1997 it became dependent on the Administration of National Parks.

VIENTOS DEL SEÑOR

The resort "Vientos del Señor" (Winds of the Lord) that started more than four years ago, is located in the vicinity of "Señor de La Peña", in the area known as "El Barrial", only 90 kilometers from the capital city. VILLA SANAGASTA

CORONA DEL INCA (Inca's crown)

Northwest of the Province of La Rioja awaits its visitors to offer landscapes that stand out for the incalculable beauty of its environment. The Corona del Inca Crater is one of those sites is unmissable for those who crave contact with nature. Also known as Inca Pillu, it is surrounded by large hills of sand containing a lake 350 meters deep. PARAGLIDING

25 DE MAYO SQUARE

Central and great historical significance, 25 de Mayo square raised on the site of the founding of the city of La Rioja, where Ramirez de Velasco planted the real bummer, and where the head of Cacique Chamilín (leader of the Calchaquí resistance) was exhibited in 1637.
